This is by no means to be taken seriously.
First, the actual picture. Then the caricature.

I can sit here and knit or use my laptop or read to my kids or talk to the red-bearded wonder while the night breeze blows past me.
It’s my favorite place ever.

Either one. Take your pick.
This isn’t my favorite, but she’ll do.
She’s the Abby Sciutto of the gamer world.
Meet Violet from Cell Damage.

Day 10, today, is favorite candy.
Likewise, I rarely eat candy. I do, however, occasionally eat a few dark chocolate chips.
Excuse the crappy out of focus cell-phone picture.
I recently completed the knitting of this lace Haruni shawl with glass bead accents. I sent it to Jay (the Red-bearded Wonder)’s mother for Passover, as a thank-you gift.
They adopted him at birth. Nobody forced them to take him in. And he is a good man, partly from having had good (and willing) parents. I think if you’re appreciative of something, you should say so… and this was my way of saying it.

Day 15 - family portrait
Since this would take me all day, I’ll just post ONE. This is my 4yo, Beverly Jeane (whom we affectionately call Betsy)
So I did this one first. It isn’t finished, have to lay in some background.

Then I did this one. I like how the “hard” of the cross done in stone is balanced by the “Gothic, Roccoco” curliques.

This guy came in with Mike (his come next), and was quite indecisive about what he wanted. He looked through a lot of books. Halfway through Mike’s tattoo, he said he wanted this:

Since we didn’t have any printed line drawings, I had to make my own. I asked him if we could go a little green-er with the flames, since this color had not enough contrast, and would be hard to see in the skin. He said he never really thought he’d want a color tattoo but he LOVED this. This is what he ended up with:

Mike had existing tattoos. He wanted a sort of parade of skulls in between the figures he had already. He’s coming back in 2 weeks for an additional 2 skulls, behind and slightly below the largest one. I drew this design freehand:

And tattooed it in black and grayscale:

My 2 o’clock appts showed up at 1:30, but then said they’d been laying mulch and did they have time to run into town to home & get showers?
Yes, please. I’ll wait.
It’s a couple and they want matching tattoos, on their sides. Very dark in the background to signify troubled life. Into light colors on the foreground to show how happy they are now.
She asked if I could put their names in them, his in hers and vice versa. He said he’d rather wait til after they’re married, that he’d had to have one x-wife’s name covered already.
She was immediately pissed. She said well she wants the name in hers now.
I’m gonna do it in such a way that it can be covered.
Anybody wanna lay odds?
