Beautiful tattoo
which is going to be all 12 birth-flowers of the kids & babies I’ve lost, with their names on them. I have the Stargazer Lily already as a start. The other flowers will all fit in around the contours of it. Not to be morbid but the flowers really have to go on in a certain order (not birth order of the kids) so that they all fit like one continuous work when it’s finished.
Next up, either 2 marigolds for the twins I lost 16 months ago:
Or a Larkspur for the baby I lost 6 1/2 years ago.
I like both of these… can’t wait to get one of them inked…
Autumne said it was “Very beautiful.”

She really loved it…

When I finished this, Miss Autumne found NO technical mistakes in it.

Black Raspberry ice cream cone with ice cubes on right breast
Flaming Heart (my design) on left breast. Both tattooed by Boyd Reid.

Stargazer Lily (1st pic, tattooed by Boyd Reid) and Marigolds, Blue-girl rose with name banners (tattooed by Marshall Neal). First 4 pieces of a half-sleeve of all 12 birth flowers of my children (living and lost)

“I Might Bite” Rocky Horror Picture Show lips with banner (my design and the first color tattoo I did on myself)
“Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” leg mural, all my design and tattoo work. First picture is a composite of when it was the linework only. 2nd two pix are what it looks like today. I just colored the dolphin/towel/fish on Wed. and have one more piece to color in.

Sugar Skull and Old-school rose, first two designs (first pic) of a 7-part work (2nd pic). My own artwork and tattooing. Most of the coloring was done while looking in a mirror.

“Nikki Vixxen” female fox head & tail on my body, my tattoo name and logo. It needs to have the purple and the grayshade touched up It is very hard to get purple to take in my skin..

Original:

The niece wanted the same vine but on the opposite foot, and with different colors of flowers.

The red spider mum just above my elbow, for Josiah, in the 1/2-sleeve of the kids’ birth flowers on my left arm.
I’m so excited I squee’d for a minute.
Like this, only redder. :D

I did the bird on my right (your left) today
and touched up/corrected the bird on my left (your right)
OMG I’m in tears.
Don’t make fun of me, ok? Not because it hurt but because it’s so beautiful. Never feel like I deserve something wonderful.
We didn’t get the light colors put in or the green around the edges because her next client is here. So there’s some finishing work to do, but I love it.
I can watch my own work and skill improving.
She had this old and VERY black handmade tattoo on her breast.
The flower is her own drawing.
This is the finished cover. One thing Marshall, one of our other artists, said I did well with this was to incorporate the black shading in other areas of the tattoo, so that when one looks at it, there’s not one obvious swath of black, making them go, Oh there’s something covered up, there…
